titleOfInvention Copolysilane and its production method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolysilane having improved characteristics of diphenylpolysilane and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A diphenyldichlorosilane and at least one selected from other halosilanes (dichlorosilane, trichlorosilane, tetrachlorosilane, monochlorosilane) (such as methylphenyldichlorosilane) are combined with a magnesium metal component, a lithium compound, and a metal halogen. The reaction is carried out in an aprotic solvent in the presence of a chemical compound to produce a copolysilane (such as a cyclic copolysilane). Copolysilane is excellent in solubility in a solvent, transparency and compatibility with a resin, and also has a high refractive index and a high water repellency. [Selection figure] None
