abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged tea beverage containing a high concentration of non-polymer catechins, having reduced bitterness and astringent taste, and having improved flavor. SOLUTION: The following components (A) and (B): (A) non-polymer catechins 320 mg / 500 mL to 1300 mg / 500 mL, (B) containing caffeine, (C) the content of non-epitopic catechins in the non-polymer catechins is 40 to 80% by weight, (D) the weight ratio of non-polymer catechins and caffeine is 5 to 8, (E) A packaged tea beverage having a weight ratio of non-polymer catechins to total polyphenols of 0.88 to 1.0 and (F) a turbidity of 0.7 or less.
