abstract |
An object of the present invention is to produce a cultured skin having a thick epidermal layer and to establish a method for producing the same in order to provide a cultured skin having sufficient strength in producing a cultured skin using umbilical cord cells. The present invention has a thick epidermal layer obtained by forming a thick and overlying epidermal layer of a cell line of umbilical cord epithelial cells up to the second passage subculture or umbilical cord epithelial cells that have acquired stable long-term proliferation. Cultured skin and a method for producing the same. Preferably, it is a cultured skin comprising an extracellular matrix, a dermis layer composed of skin fibroblasts or / and umbilical cord myofibroblasts, and an epidermal layer having thickly layered umbilical cord epithelial cells.
