An endotoxin in blood is measured. A blood is collected (step S601), and white blood cells are extracted from the collected blood (step S602). The extracted leukocytes are destroyed (step S603), a destroyed leukocyte fluid is obtained (step S603), and the endotoxin of the destroyed leukocyte fluid is measured (step S604). As a result, endotoxin bound to leukocytes or taken into leukocytes is measured, and the measurement result is associated with symptoms such as sepsis and shock caused by endotoxin. In addition, since endotoxin enriched by leukocytes is measured, measurement sensitivity can be increased. [Selection] Fig. 6 |
