abstract | A novel conjugated diene polymerization catalyst capable of producing a conjugated diene-based polymer having a high 1,4-cis bond content, a sharp molecular weight distribution, and a suitable molecular weight, a method for producing the same, and the use of the polymerization catalyst. Provided is a method for producing a conjugated diene polymer. A lanthanum series metal compound (A), an organoaluminum compound (B) represented by the following general formula (1), an organoaluminum hydride compound (C), and an organoaluminum halide compound (D) are prepared by mixing. A conjugated diene polymerization catalyst comprising: the organoaluminum hydride compound (C) blended after the organoaluminum compound (B); a method for producing the conjugated diene polymerization catalyst; and A method for producing a conjugated diene polymer, comprising polymerizing a conjugated diene in the presence of the conjugated diene polymerization catalyst.
