abstract | The shape and particle size distribution of particle aggregates can be controlled, the particle size distribution of toner particles becomes sharp, the target circularity can be achieved in a short time, and the amount of coarse powder generated during ripening is small. Provided is a method for producing a toner for developing an electrostatic image. A method for producing a toner, comprising: an aggregation step of aggregating particles in a dispersion containing primary polymer particles and a colorant; and a ripening step of causing fusion between particles in an obtained particle aggregate.
