abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrochemical device, and more particularly to an electrochemical device having an improved capacity density including a plurality of stacked electrochemical cells. The present invention is directed to an electrochemical device in which a plurality of electrochemical cells in which a full cell in which a positive electrode, a separation membrane, and a negative electrode are sequentially located are a basic unit overlap each other, and each overlapping portion is provided with a separation film. Has a unit length that can wrap the electrochemical cell, and folds inward at each unit length, wrapping each electrochemical cell continuously from the central electrochemical cell to the outermost electrochemical cell. The present invention provides an electrochemical device interposed in an overlapping portion of an electrochemical cell.
