(57) [Problem] To provide a toner in which fog and image blur caused by the toner in an environment of high humidity are improved. SOLUTION: Resin particles prepared by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in the presence of a surfactant having a copolymerizable unsaturated group in an aqueous medium and a colorant are subjected to salting out, aggregation, and fusion.
