titleOfInvention | Method for producing carbonyl compound |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous ruthenium dehydrogenation catalyst by using an organic phosphine-ruthenium complex catalyst to dehydrogenate an alcohol without adding a hydrogen acceptor and reducing the formation of addition products. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing a carbonyl compound that can achieve a high ligand cost, and a method for producing a carbonyl compound that increases the reaction rate and the reaction efficiency. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a carbonyl compound in which an alcohol is dehydrogenated in the presence of an organic phosphine-ruthenium complex catalyst, an organic phosphine and a ruthenium compound are mixed so that the atomic ratio of phosphorus atom / ruthenium atom becomes 2 to 8. An organic phosphine-ruthenium complex catalyst produced by mixing and heating is used. |
