(57) SUMMARY The present invention relates to heat resistant elastic products including cured, irradiated or crosslinked ethylene polymers, and to a method of making the same. In particular, the present invention relates to molded articles (eg, films or fibers) that are characterized by improved elasticity at elevated temperatures and that include substantially cured, irradiated or crosslinked homogeneously branched ethylene polymers. The improved elastic product of the present invention is particularly suitable for use in applications where good elasticity must be maintained at elevated temperatures, such as personal hygiene products at body temperatures of about 100 ° F (38 ° C) and disposable infection control garments. |
