titleOfInvention Novel sulfur-containing phenolic resin and its production method
abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel phenolic resin in which the resin itself is soft and therefore not brittle (flexible). A phenol having an unsaturated hydrocarbon group represented by the formula (1) is reacted with formaldehyde to obtain a dinuclear phenol derivative of the formula (2), and then a dithiol compound (HS-R 2 -SH) to form -R 1 -SR 2 -S- between the phenolic carbon and the phenolic carbon. A sulfur-containing phenol resin having a structure of R 1- (formula (1) 2)). In the formula, R 1 is a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, R 2 is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and R 3 is a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms which is the same as R 1 except that it has a double bond. A hydrogen group and R 4 represent a methoxy group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 9 carbon atoms. Embedded image
