abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat battery in which an electrode group in which a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are insulated via a separator is housed in an outer case made of a laminate sheet mainly composed of a resin film, which is subjected to drop impact or vibration. Provided is a flat battery that prevents movement of an electrode group and is excellent in preventing deformation of an outer case and short-circuit. SOLUTION: The current collector and the positive electrode lead of the positive electrode plate, and the current collector and the negative electrode lead of the negative electrode plate and a connecting portion thereof are coated with an adhesive resin insoluble in an electrolytic solution to thereby form the electrode group and the outer case.
