(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To enable a liquid sample to flow smoothly without stagnation in a flow path, realize excellent measurement accuracy, stable measurement sensitivity and quick response, and perform repeated measurement or continuous measurement. Provided are a biosensor capable of suppressing a decrease in sensitivity in measurement and a liquid sample measurement method using the biosensor. A flow path through which a liquid sample flows is formed in a silicon wafer by using a fine processing technique, and a metal oxide film such as titanium oxide having hydrophilicity is disposed on an inner wall of the flow path. A detection unit 5 having an enzyme layer for detecting a component of a sample, a wiring 6 and an electrode pad 7 are similarly integrally formed using a fine processing technique, and the upper part thereof is sealed with a glass wafer 2. In addition, the photocatalytic function of the metal oxide film 10 allows the liquid sample to flow smoothly without accumulating the liquid sample, and the components of the liquid sample are detected with high measurement accuracy and high measurement stability. |
