titleOfInvention Method for producing hollow polymer particles
abstract (57) [Abstract] (Modified) [Problem] Hollow having a good balance of concealing properties, gloss, coating strength, water resistance, alkali resistance, weather resistance, etc., and having a uniform particle size and high porosity. Provided is a method capable of efficiently producing polymer particles. A polymer particle (B) is obtained by polymerizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid and a radical polymerizable monomer in the presence of a polymer particle (A) obtained by polymerizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid and a radical polymerizable monomer. In the presence of (B), the radical polymerizable monomer is polymerized to obtain polymer particles (C), and in the presence of (C), the unsaturated carboxylic acid and the radical polymerizable monomer are polymerized, (C) A method for producing hollow polymer particles in which core-shell polymer particles (D) in which the surface layer is coated with a polymer are obtained, and (D) is neutralized and swollen to obtain hollow polymer particles.
