titleOfInvention | Method of forming ablation image |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a monochromatic ablation image excellent in scratch resistance and abrasion resistance without requiring a separate receiving element. An ablation recording element having a barrier layer and a dye layer on a support in order, the dye layer including a dye dispersed in a polymer binder, and having an infrared absorbing material in association with the dye layer. Heating imagewise with a laser in the absence of a separate receiving element to remove the ablated dye to obtain an image in the ablation recording element, wherein laser irradiation is performed on the dye side of the element; and A method for forming a monochromatic ablation image, wherein the dye layer contains a plasticizer in an amount of 50% by mass or less of the polymer binder. |
