Mass propagation method of cherry genus by tissue culture |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for mass-producing cherry genus by tissue culture. SOLUTION: The shoot apices of the genus Sakura or a plant tissue containing the shoot apices are cultured to induce and proliferate polyblasts, and the proliferated polyblasts are cultured in a shoot elongation medium to elongate the shoots and then elongate. The shoots are cultured in a rooting medium and rooted to regenerate the plants, and the regenerated plants are subjected to low-temperature treatment before acclimation, whereby a large amount of Sakura plants can be regenerated efficiently. |
