titleOfInvention Spent oxide fuel reprocessing equipment
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a spent fuel reprocessing device which is excellent in processing speed, operability and safety and can cope with scale-up to practical use. A protective container (13) is provided outside a crucible (2) containing a molten salt (1) and spent fuel or actinide oxide (23), The liquid metal 21 is filled between the protective container 13 and the crucible 2. A heating source 15 having a built-in heater 14 is provided outside the protective container 13. An upper lid 16 of a trunk length is hermetically attached to the opening at the upper end of the crucible 2 via a sealing material 17. Cathode penetrates top lid 16 19 is inserted, and a heat shield plate 20 is provided on the lower surface of the upper lid 16 so as to be suspended. Further, a gas blowing pipe 5 for blowing the purging gas 4 and a gas exhaust pipe 6 for discharging the gas in the crucible 2 are attached to the upper lid 16. As a result, the crucible 2 can be kept at a uniform temperature, heat radiation to the upper part can be prevented, and a rise in the temperature of the upper lid 16 can be prevented.
