abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a pickling method for descaling a stainless steel hot rolled annealed steel sheet with a mixed acid, which method has excellent whiteness after pickling. SOLUTION: To a mixed acid of hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid, chloride ions in a range of an area surrounded by points A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H shown in FIG. The pickling treatment is performed using the mixed aqueous acid solution.
