PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexographic material which does not exhibit the disadvantages of the prior art materials and does not adversely affect other essential properties of a photopolymerizable recording element or a flexographic printing plate made therefrom. To provide a photopolymerizable recording element for making a printing plate. A support and at least one layer containing at least one polymer binder, at least one ethylenically unsaturated copolymerizable organic compound, and at least one photopolymerization initiator or a photopolymerization initiator system. A photopolymerizable recording element comprising: a photopolymerizable layer; and a layer responsive to infrared radiation and opaque to actinic radiation, wherein an adhesive wax layer is present between the photopolymerizable layer and the infrared sensitive layer. |
