(57) Abstract: A fiber-rubber adhesive having excellent adhesive strength capable of heat-treating polyester fibers in a low-temperature region, and a fiber which is subjected to a one-bath treatment of polyester fibers using the adhesive. Providing a method of bonding with rubber. The fiber-rubber adhesive is resorcinol. It comprises an aqueous mixture of formaldehyde precondensate and rubber latex (A), an aqueous dispersion of epoxy resin (B), and an imidazole compound or an imidazoline compound (C). Further, this bonding treatment method comprises immersing the polyester fiber in the above adhesive, heat-treating, embedding the polyester fiber thus treated in unvulcanized rubber, and then vulcanizing the unvulcanized rubber to form a polyester. It consists of integrating fiber and rubber. |
