SOLUTION: General formula (1) Wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group, and a and b are 0 Or 1, m is an integer of 1 to 7 and p is an integer of 2 or more) and 0.05 g per gram equivalent of the phenol skeleton constituting the chain polyphenol sulfide. A phenol skeleton constituting the chain sulfurized phenoxide after removing at least one metal reagent selected from an equivalent or more of an oxidized or alkali metal hydroxide reagent and an oxidized or alkaline earth metal reagent and removing water in the reaction system. 0.1 per gram equivalent. Reaction of elemental sulfur of at least 05 gram equivalent with general formula (2) (Wherein, R is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group, m is an integer of 1 to 7, and n is an integer of 3 or more).
