titleOfInvention Electrophotographic toner
abstract (57) [Problem] An object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic toner free from the problem of background fog after being left in a high-temperature environment. SOLUTION: The surface of the toner particles is 0.2 to 0.4 μm. Wherein the amount of the hydrophobic silica fine particles is 0.1 to 1% by weight with respect to the toner particles, and satisfies the following formula: Electrophotographic toner. 1.5 ≦ AM 2 / N ≦ 3 where A is the amount of attached hydrophobic silica fine particles (% by weight), M Is the number average particle diameter (μm) of the electrophotographic toner, and N is the number of hydrophobic silica fine particles adhering as aggregates having a size of 0.2 to 0.4 μm.
