An object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic photosensitive member exhibiting stable performance, a process cartridge having the electrophotographic photosensitive member, and an electrophotographic apparatus. An electrophotographic photosensitive member having a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a compound obtained by polymerizing a hole transporting compound having two or more chain-polymerizable functional groups in the same molecule. Electrophotographic photosensitive member, a process cartridge having the electrophotographic photosensitive member, and an electrophotographic apparatus.
