titleOfInvention Water treatment method and apparatus
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a water treatment method and apparatus capable of improving the ability to purify treated water. SOLUTION: In the water treatment method of the present invention, the photocatalyst fine particles 4 are present in the water 1 to be treated in the treatment tank 3 in which the light emission source 7 is immersed, and the light emitted from the light emission source 7 is irradiated on the photocatalyst 4. In the water treatment method for purifying the water 1 to be treated, a floating solid 5 having a photocatalyst 4 attached thereto is present in the water 1 to be treated, Gas is supplied to the water to be treated 1 to fluidize the water to be treated 1 and the floating solid 5, and the water to be treated is treated while preventing the light emission source 7 from being stained. In this case, when gas is supplied to the water 1 to be treated, the floating solid 5 to which the photocatalyst 4 is attached and the water 1 to be treated are fluidized, and the adherence to the light emitting source 7 is effectively reduced by the collision of the floating solid 5. It is peeled off and kept constantly clean. Therefore, the light from the light emission source 7 is sufficiently irradiated on the photocatalyst 4 for a long period of time.
