PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber excellent in antibacterial property, deodorant property and robustness, including dyeing a fiber with a tea polyphenol without using a metal chelate. SOLUTION: (1) A fiber is immersed in an aqueous solution containing a cationic surfactant having a quaternary ammonium salt group, a water-soluble protein and an alkaline compound, and (2) the fiber is removed from the aqueous solution. A method for producing antibacterial fibers, which is separated and then immersed in an aqueous solution containing tea polyphenols. |
