Spinel-type lithium-manganese composite oxide |
abstract |
Provided is a new spinel-type lithium-manganese composite oxide with which it is possible to effectively reduce gas evolution due to reaction with electrolytic solutions. The proposed spinel-type lithium-manganese composite oxide is characterized in that in cases when the spinel-type lithium-manganese composite oxide is introduced into 20ºC ion-exchanged water and the mixture is stirred for 10 minutes and then allowed to stand for 2 minutes and thereby separate into a supernatant and a sediment, then the proportion of "the interatomic distance between the 16d site and the 32e site" of the spinel-type lithium-manganese composite oxide contained in the recovered supernatant to "the interatomic distance between the 16d site and the 32e site (100%)" of the spinel-type lithium-manganese composite oxide contained in the recovered sediment is less than 101.5%, the interatomic distances being determined by the Rietveld method using the fundamental method. |
