abstract A dust free powder like composite feed additive supplement which contains 0.25% - 2.0% mineral oil by weight is prepared by metering and delivering bulking carrier material to a mixer (6) via a batch weighing hopper (4). Individual feed additives are weighed and delivered to the mixer (6). An aerosol of mineral oil and air is formed and during mixing of the dry ingredients the aerosol is injected into the mixer (6). The droplets of mineral oil adhere to the dust of the material producing a particle size in the range 400 - 1000 microns. <IMAGE>
