abstract The invention provides a food additive composition comprising copper sulphate with improved flow characteristics. The composition comprises (by weight) 99.6% of crystalline or blue copper sulphate mixed with 0.4% silicon dioxide of average primary particle size of 18 microns. The copper sulphate and silicon dioxide are mixed for 15 minutes. It has been found that the addition of silicon dioxide improves the flow characteristics of the mixture. Ondina oil to the amount of 0.17% by weight may be added to the mixture to reduce the level of dust emission from the mixture. <IMAGE>
