abstract | Compounds corresponding to the formula <IMAGE> in which R1 is hydrogen or a hydroxyalkyl, alkyl or alkoxycarbonyl radical and R2 is either a hydroxyl radical, or a linear or branched alkoxy radical which can carry halogens as substituents, or a (cycloalkyl)-alkoxy radical, or a cycloalkoxy radical, or an alkoxy radical carrying a piperidino, morpholino, piperazino or pyrrolidino group, or a (dialkylamino)- alkoxy radical, or an amino radical, or an alkylamino radical, or a dialkylamino radical, or a cycloalkylamino radical or a radical OMe (Me = alkali metal or alkaline earth metal), except for the compound wherein R1 is H and R2 is CH3O, the alkyl and alkoxy radicals having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and the cyloalkyl and cycloalkoxy radicals having from 3 to 6 carbon atoms, and also their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable acids, have anti-anoxia and psychotropic activity and are useful in treating cerebral disorders. |
