abstract | The present invention relates to new pentacyclic derivatives of the oxayohimbane type methylated in positions 1 and 10, their process for obtaining and the pharmaceutical compositions containing them.n n n The compounds of the invention correspond to the following general formula: in which R represents an alkyl or aminoalkyl group comprising from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R 2 and R 3 represent either hydrogen atoms or together, an additional carbon-carbon bond, as well as its addition salts mineral or organic acid.n n n They are obtained from tetraphylline by successive treatment with a hydride donor, an excess of formaldehyde and a new quantity of hydride donor, optionally followed by dehydrogenation. |
