abstract | 1310587 Polymer compositions; hair treatment L'OREAL 12 June 1970 [12 June 1969] 28664/70 Heading C4X [Also in Divisions A5 and C3] Aerosol lacquers for setting hair comprise as the setting agent a copolymer derived from at least two different monomers in which the weight percentage of units derived from one of the monomers, through the entire length of each constituent copolymer chain in the resin does not differ from the weight percentage of units derived from the said monomer in the resin by more than 2À5 weight per cent. The polymer is dissolved in alcohol and formed into an aerosol with a propellant. In Examples 1, 3, 5, 8 ethanol and Freons 11 and 12 ("Freon" is a Registered Trade Mark) are used, Examples 1, 5, 8 also including 2-amino-2-methyl-propanediol- 1, 3-, and the polymer is (1) a vinyl acetate/ allyloxyacetic acid polymer; (3) a vinyl acetate/ N-vinylpyrrolidone polymer; (5) a vinyl acetate/allyl acetate/crotonic acid polymer; (8) a vinyl acetate/allyl stearate/crotonic acid polymer. |
