abstract The invention relates to the use of an absorbent solution in a deacidification process of a gaseous effluent containing acidic compounds such as CO2 or H2S to limit the corrosion of equipment made of low-alloy steel and to absorb the acidic compounds of the gaseous effluent by bringing the absorbent solution into contact with the gaseous effluent. The absorbent solution comprises water and a particular nitrogen compound corresponding to the formula (I) below, N, N, N ', N'-TetraMethylHexane-1,6-DiAmine, and has a low corrosive power. vis-à-vis low-alloy steels on the surfaces of deacidification equipment.
