titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC FILMS BY SPARK DISCHARGE FROM ANODE.
abstract The subject of the invention is a method for forming a ceramic film on the surface of a support by discharge of sparks carried out in an electrolytic bath. According to the invention, the electrolytic bath comprises an aqueous solution of water-soluble or colloidal silicate or of an oxacid salt or their mixture in which fine ceramic particles have been dispersed and the discharge of sparks is carried out. in the electrolytic bath making sure that the ceramic particles are suspended in the electrolytic bath. Applications: production, on metal supports, of ceramic films of various colors, having excellent insulating properties and excellent hardness.
