abstract |
Disclosed is a polydeoxyribonucleic acid having a base sequence encoding an amino acid sequence of a polypeptide which is a creatinase, from a creatinase-producing microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus. The DNA base sequence of the creatinase gene and the amino acid sequence of creatinase have been elucidated. Also disclosed is the transformant having this polydeoxyribonucleic acid, as well as a process for preparing creatinase, with high productivity, by application of a genetic engineering technique. |
