abstract CRYSTALLINE ADDITION SALTS OF SULFURIC, DINITRIC, MONOCHLORHYDRATE, DICHLORHYDRATE AND DI- AND SESQUI-ORTHOPHOSPHATE OF 7-A- (AMINOTHIAZOL-4-YL) -A- (Z) -METHOXYIMYO-ACETAMID -1-PYRROLIDINIO) METHYL -3-CEPHEM-4-CARBOXYLATE ARE STABLE EVEN AT HIGH TEMPERATURES. THE CRYSTALLINE ADDED SALT OF SULFURIC ACID IS PREPARED BY FORMING A MIXTURE OF AT LEAST MOLAR SULFURIC ACID WITH A DIPOLAR ION IN QUANTITY AS PRESENT IN THE CONCENTRATION HIGHER THAN 25MGML, CRYSTALLIZATION IS CAUSED, CRYSTALS ARE SEPARATED, WASHED AND DRYED. MONOCHLORHYDRIQUE, DICHLORHYDRATE AND CRYSTALLINE ORTHOPHOSPHATE PREPARES BY DISSOLUTION OF THE DIPOLAR ION IN THE APPROPRIATE QUANTITY OF ACID, CRYSTALLIZATION BY ADDITION OF ACETONE IS OCCASIONED AND THE CRYSTALS ARE ISOLATED. PHYSICAL MIXTURES OF SALTS WITH CERTAIN BASES, IN APPROPRIATE PROPORTIONS, GIVE A pH BETWEEN APPROXIMATELY 3.5 AND APPROXIMATELY 7 WHICH, BY DILUTION WITH WATER, GIVE INJECTABLE COMPOSITIONS.
