abstract | A method and apparatus for coagulating an aqueous polymer latex is disclosed. The latex and the aqueous coagulant are mixed in a tubular coagulation device 8, and the approximately fully coagulated mixture exits this device to enter a container 3 or two containers connected in series and containing aqueous coagulant. The coagulated polymer is then separated, collected and dried. Field of application: production of particles of rubbery polymers for the manufacture of tires, seals, etc. |
