abstract The invention relates to the use of polyester adhesives in photographic materials. These polyesters are amorphous even at temperatures above 20 degrees C; they are soluble in chlorinated solvents and their glass transition temperature is between - 30 degrees C and + 25 degrees C. They are prepared from a phthalic acid, and a mixture of a glycol containing oxyethylene groups and of a branched aliphatic glycol, such as neopentylglycol. This adhesive makes it possible to obtain solid and stable joints between the hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces of the various constituent layers of a photographic product, in particular for the diffusion-transfer process.
