Method of obtaining a compound based on pseudolaminar silicates and its use as a filler for polymeric materials. # The present invention relates to a method of obtaining a compound comprising a naturally occurring pseudolaminar silicate, which is at least one clay of the group of the paligorski ta-sepiolite, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: defibrillating in water the microfiber beams of the at least one clay; dispersing the defibrillated clay in an organic or inorganic solvent liquid to form a stable gel; add at least one clay surface modifying agent to the dispersion; remove the solvent from the dispersion by a solid-liquid separation method and / or drying; and deagglomerate the final compound until a powder product is obtained. Another object of the present invention is the compound obtainable from said process, as well as the use of the compound as an additive or filler in polymeric composite materials for the improvement of its properties, the polymeric composite material also being encompassed in the present invention. |
