abstract An imaging device, in particular for medical imaging, comprises a light source device (10) being arranged for an illumination of a sample (1) under investigation with illumination light, a plurality of detectors (20) including at least one sample light camera (21) being capable of sensing sample light reflected by the sample and collecting at least one sample light image of the sample and at least one multi-spectral marker light camera (22) being capable of simultaneous sensing marker light originating from at least one marker substance in the sample in different spectral ranges and collecting marker light images of the sample in the different spectral ranges, a light splitting imaging optic (30) being arranged for imaging the sample light and the marker light onto the at least one sample light camera and the at least one marker light cameras, resp., and a processor device (40) being adapted for processing the sample and marker light images in parallel and rendering at least one corrected image based on the at least one sample light image and the marker light images in a real-time mode. Furthermore, an imaging method for multispectral photonic imaging is described.
