abstract |
The invention relates to a method for the production of xerogels, comprising (a) providing a monomer component (a1) consisting of at least one polyfunctional isocyanate and a monomer component (a2) consisting of at least one polyfunctional aliphatic amine in separate form, (b) combining the monomer components (a1) and (a2) in the presence of a solvent (C), (c) reacting the monomer components (a1) and (a2) in the presence of the solvent (C) to form a gel, (e) drying the gel obtained in the previous step by converting the liquid contained in the gel into the gaseous state at a temperature and a pressure below the critical temperature and the critical pressure of the liquid contained in the gel, wherein in step (a) the monomer component (a2) is provided dissolved in a ketone and / or aldehyde as solvent (C) and combined in step (b) with the monomer component (a1).n n n Furthermore, the invention relates to the xerogels thus obtainable and their use as insulating material and in vacuum insulation panels. |
