abstract The invention aims at providing an ozone-resistant vulcanizate of a copolymer rubber bearing nitrile groups. The vulcanizate is produced by subjecting a polymer composition comprising 40 to 90 wt% of a copolymer rubber (1) bearing nitrile groups and 60 to 10 wt% of particles which are made of an acrylic resin (2) comprising methyl (meth)acrylate units as the main structural units and having a content of crosslinkable functional groups of 0.01 equivalent or below per 100 g and have a mean particle diameter of 10μm or below to heat treatment at a temperature ranging from T + 20 °C to T + 90 °C (wherein T is the higher of the glass transition temperature and melting temperature of the acrylic resin (2))to form a rubber composition, adding a vulcanizing agent to the rubber composition to form a vulcanizable rubber composition, and vulcanizing the vulcanizable rubber composition.
