abstract A blood constituent separating membrane constitutednsubstantially of polysulfone membrane separates blood plasma and/ornblood serum from a blood sample. Reagents which are supported onna reagent layer have a portion for spreading the blood plasma and/ornthe blood serum separated from the blood sample, and when the reagentnlayer comes into contact with the blood constituent separatingnmembrane, the blood plasma and/or the blood serum spreads over thenreagent layer. The reagent forms a color as a result of a reactionnwith the blood plasma and/or the blood serum.
