An analyte measuring tip 5 is provided with a capn51, a tube 52 projecting from an end wall 511 of the capn51, and a test paper 53 set in place on the inner side ofnthe end wall. The test paper 53 is the product ofnsuperposition of a first layer 53a and a second layern53b. The first layer 53a is formed of a porous membranencarrying thereon a reagent capable of reacting with anspecific component (such as, for example glucose) innblood and proportionately assuming a color and the secondnlayer 53b is formed of a porous membrane fulfilling thenfunction by separating red blood cells from the bloodnthrough filtration while allowing the colored vehicle tonreach its further face, where it may be examined by annautomated test device. The test paper per se is alsoninventive. |
