abstract |
Each gene in a group comprising many genes is clonedninto an expression vector so that its gene product should benexpressed as a fusion protein with a protein emitting self-fluorescencento construct a gene expression library. Thengene expression library is introduced into cells of twongroups to express the fusion proteins in the cells, and onlynone cell group is stimulated by a drug or the like. Then,ncells in which the fusion proteins are localized in thennuclei or their nuclei are isolated from cells of the twongroups, respectively. By comparing these cells, genesncoding for proteins that are transported into the nucleinspecifically in response to a certain stimulus when thenstimulus is applied to the cells are retrieved. |
