abstract |
Disclosed herein is a continuous manufacturing method fornanhydrous crystalline maltitol comprising the following steps:n(i) a heating and concentrating step where an aqueous solutionncontaining maltitol in which maltitol is a main ingredient isncontinuously heated and concentrated to give a concentratednsolution having a high concentration; (ii) a seed crystal addingnand mixing step where the seed crystals are added to and mixednwith the above concentrated solution with heating to give anmassceuite containing the seed crystals; and (iii) a crystalnaging step where the massceuite is subjected to disintegration,nmixing, stirring and transfer in an atmosphere in whichntemperature and moisture are adjusted to proceed thencrystallization. |
