A positive photosensitive composition for use with anninfrared laser comprises one or more alkali aqueous solutionnsoluble polymer compounds (A) having in a molecule at least onengroup selected from a phenolic hydroxide group (a-1), ansulfonamide group (a-2), and an active imide group (a-3); ancompound (B) which has an I/O value (Y) satisfying a relationshipn0.05 ≦ | X - Y | ≦ 0.5 wherein X is an I/O value of the polymerncompound (A), and which is compatible with the polymer compoundn(A) thereby lowering solubility of the polymer compound (A) intonan alkali aqueous solution, an effect of lowering the solubilitynbeing reduced by heating; and a compound (C) which generates heatnupon absorbing light. The photosensitive composition does notncontain any compound having a thermal decomposition temperaturenof 150°C or less. Alternatively, the photosensitive compositionnmay comprise a compound which generates heat upon absorbingnlight; an alkali aqueous solution soluble resin having a phenolicnhydroxide group; and a compound represented by R 1 CO-X-R 2 (whereinnX represents O, S or NR 3 ; R 1 represents an alkyl group or alkenylngroup which has 6 - 32 carbon atoms, R 2 and R 3 represent a hydrogennatom, or an alkyl group or alkenyl group or aryl group each ofnwhich has 1 - 18 carbon atoms). |
