Die neuen Verbindungen sind sehr starke Estrogene und zur Herstellung von Arzneimitteln geeignet.The new 14α, 16α-ethano- and 14α, 16α-etheno-estratrienes of the general formula I , described in what A - B a CC single or CC double bond, R₁ a hydrogen atom, a methyl or acyl group with 1 - 12 carbon atoms and X Oxygen or where R₂ is a hydrogen atom or an acyl group with 1 - 12 carbon atoms, mean, and a process for their manufacture. The new compounds are very strong estrogens and are suitable for the production of drugs.
