Method for cell-free synthesis and isolation of new genes and new polypeptides. According to one embodiment, an expression unit is constructed on which semi-random nucleotide sequences are fixed. Firstly, the semi-random nucleotide sequences are transcribed in order to produce RNA, then they are translated under conditions allowing the production of polysomes. Next, the polysomes binding to a substance of interest are isolated and separated, and the released messenger RNA is recovered. Messenger RNA is used to develop complementary DNA, which is expressed to produce new polypeptides. |
