abstract Bituminous binder emulsion formed from a dispersion of an organic phase consisting of a bituminous binder in an aqueous phase containing an emulsifying system, consisting of one or more emulsifying agents, a water-soluble thickening agent and optionally a pH regulating agent. The thickening agent, the use of which allows the viscosity of the emulsion to be controlled, contains at least 40% by weight of a scleroglucan. The emulsion obtained can be used for road engineering, sealing in civil engineering or building applications or for industrial jobs.
