Propargylguanidine derivatives of the general formula I where: nX is an anion of pharmaceutically acceptable acids; na is an integer from 1 to 5; nb is an integer from 1 to 7; nc is 0 or an integer from 1 to 4; and nd is 2a - c for monovalent acid anions, nis a - c for divalent acid anions, and nis 0 or 2 when c = 0. n The process for the preparation of the above derivatives is based on reacting N-cyano-N′-(2-((4-methyl-5-imidazolyl)methylthio)ethyl)-N˝-propargylguanidine with an X anion containing zinc compound or an organozinc. |
